\nProduced in the \u017bywiecka Fabryka Sprz\u0119tu Szpitalnego (\u017bywiec Factory of Hospital Equipment) in \u017bywiec.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The company was established in 1870 as a small chemical industry plant in the village of Zadziele near \u017bywiec. In 1921, after changing the owner and profile, the plant under the name Steel Furniture Factory “Wsch\u00f3d” started the production of simple metal beds and furniture made of galvanized and varnished steel pipes. After World War II in 1946, the factory was nationalized and began to develop products for healthcare (primarily simple hospital beds). In 1964, the plant under the name \u017bywiecka Fabryka Szpital Szpitalnego in \u017bywiec was moved to the Zab\u0142ocie district, where it operates to this day. In the 1970s, production was expanded to include dental chairs and operating tables. After the restructuring and privatization of the factory in 1997, the company started production under the name of \u017bywiecka Fabryka Spetu Szpitalnego Famed S.A., and then in 2012 it was transformed into the company Famed \u017bywiec Sp. Z o. o.<\/p>\n
